Free money for new businesses

Updated: Sep 17, 2019

Have you recently established a new business (within the last 4 years) and are looking to grow your business? Or have you recently started and feel a bit overwhelmed with where to take your new venture and would like to engage professional assistance but don’t feel you can afford it?

Well luckily for you the Department of Employment, Small Business and Training have a program specifically aimed at businesses like yours. The program provides a grant of funding a 50% contribution towards the completion of a project in training, engaging a consultant, advisor or business coach to provide your business:

· mentoring/coaching

· business and strategic planning

· professional business advice (information technology (IT), legal or financial)

· marketing strategy development (branding strategies, social media/digital strategies, market research).

As part of the project, the consultant will assist with developing a business action plan for the next 12 months to support and improve your business. Developing an action plan will focus ideas and determine what steps need to be taken to achieve particular business goals. Each action in the plan should detail the task or activity, its objective, implementation date, who’s responsible, and the costs or resources required.

More information on the grant can be found here but get in quick as applications close 5pm 30th August 2019.
